Objective
The Physio Lab team was looking to build an app that would guide patients through prescribed physical therapy exercises and provide feedback on the patient’s progress to the physical therapy team.
Solution
Achievion developed and published both iOS and Android apps using the Agile phased approach. The app backend was deployed to the AWS Cloud to allow doctors monitor patients progress and recommend follow up activities.
The app includes the following features:
- Initial assessment of the patient situation based on a wizard-like questionnaire
- Daily health status updates
- Multi-level and multi-step self-adjusting exercise program with detailed instructions and video samples
- Rehabilitation history represented by multiple charts and graphs
- Support for multiple program modules based on the injury type
