The Advanced Technology Academic Research Center (ATARC) is a non-profit organization whose goal is to provide professional development and collaborative forums for Federal government, academia and industry to identify, discuss and resolve emerging technology challenges. ATARC’s board of directors is comprised of representatives from Federal agencies (VA, DOJ, GSA, etc.) as well as prominent IT industry leaders (Microsoft, Salesforce, SAIC, etc.).
ATARC organizes multiple events throughout the year to allow government agencies collaborate with industry and academia on cutting edge technology topics such as AI, Blockchain, 5G and more. The organization also hosts a number of working groups targeted at helping federal agencies develop a strategy for introducing innovative technologies to provide better services to the citizens.
In June 2019 ATARC started a working group dedicated to Artificial Intelligence area following the presidential directive on AI. The AI Working Group is a technical working group of government, academia and private industry thought leaders collaborating on topics of interest to the Federal AI community. Working in collaboration with the Federal Government to make recommendations for methods to increase efficiency and reduce cost using cutting-edge AI solutions.
Achievion team has been invited to take an active role in the group operation due to our expertise with delivering AI-powered solutions.
